Objectives

The GENERAL OBJECTIVE of the project is to design, synthesize and characterize biocompatible HEA thin films obtained using PVD techniques which possess similar or even superior properties as the initial bulk material and will be used to coat surgical instruments or medical implants.

Stages

  1. HEA thin films synthesize by physical vapor deposition methods.
  2. Correlation between deposition parameters and HEA thin films physical, chemical and mechanical properties.
  3. Evaluation of HEA thin films from biological/biocompatibility point of view.
